My good friend’s grandchildren count the number of sleeps until an event. James and I have just one more sleep until we head to Scotland. Our bags are packed. I have notes upon notes and questions for Kat, our friend and tour guide (TravelKatTours.com). I am aching to see where Elen’s cottage is, as well as other characters. This is a journey of a dream and of a lifetime. Many thanks to everyone who has made a donation.
Writing magic continues. Some new characters and events have been spilling from my fingers and into the journal. I have made the decision that Elen is likely of the Keith clan as they have a deer in their emblem and the motto: “Vertitas Vincit,” or “Truth conquers.” Words for Elen to live by.
Spoiler alert that Clan Calder is also represented in the book with the character of Finn. He’s a braw Scotsman, and that’s all I can reveal…
