Sharon Brubaker grew up in central Pennsylvania, surrounded by the mountains of Blair County, and has been telling stories since childhood. Her love of writing began in second grade and has continued through a lifetime of books, creativity, and curiosity.
Now based in Maryland, Sharon draws inspiration from the Chesapeake Bay, coastal communities, local history, folklore, and the natural world. Her novels span cozy mysteries, contemporary fiction, and fantasy, from the gardens and secrets of the Meadowood Garden Mysteries to the coastal settings of her Sea Glass stories and the magical folklore of her Selkie Sisters series.
A lifelong educator and award-winning librarian, Sharon brings a love of research and discovery to her writing. When she isn’t working on her next novel, she enjoys gardening, creating jewelry, and exploring the places that inspire her stories.
