Sharon grew up in central Pennsylvania, surrounded by the beautiful mountains in Blair County, Pennsylvania. Writing has been a lifelong passion for Sharon since childhood, scribbling stories since second grade. Her Green Man series was influenced by a prose piece written many years ago. Tides of Blue is influenced by wandering beaches, searching for sea glass, and daydreaming.
For Sharon, writing is like breathing. She says she has more stories in her head to write down than lifetimes to live.
Sharon is an avid novelist, a national award-winning Librarian, and the author of several educational publications. She is also an avid gardener, jewelry artist, and artist.
