There are days when I have too many creative ideas swirling around in my head. They swirl around, like a swarm of butterflies, vying for my attention as I go from the 18th century to current times in books. I have snippets of historical fiction, contemporary romance, and fantasy all crowding my brain with colored slide images, and snippets coming out of my fingers into my journal or laptop. I have art ideas and what my mother would call ‘hair-brained’ ideas for creative endeavors. I get dizzy as I maneuver through day-to-day tasks and have these images in my head. Hopefully, I can capture a butterfly of an idea and set it free to wing its way into the world, bringing a smile to someone.
