The 18th-century American resources are ripe for the picking. There’s an overwhelming harvest of information. It makes me think of the book quote, “Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested; that is, some books are to be read only in parts; others to be read, but not curiously; and some few are to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention.” By Francis Bacon. I am swimming in information from screen and page with a constant learning, learning, learning. The trick is to weave the historical information into this incredible story channeling through my fingers. The Elen Chronicles, Of Love and Blood will be a wonderful tale.
