The TBR pile or the “to be read” pile for a bibliomaniac like myself can be problematic. My current TBR pile is now two columns of books waist-high whispering to me beside the bed. Another approximate-foot-high pile was on the bedside table. I say ‘was’ because a hungry imp, also known as Dax, our Siamese cat, knocked them off, one by one at 3:30 in the morning because he’s not used to Daylight Savings time. I made yet another pile on the floor. And, lest I forget, the kindle holds volumes and volumes of books to be read.
Often, I read and listen to more than one book at the same time. One or two books to read and one or two books to listen to are manageable. Sometimes, I can’t help myself, and I need to begin reading more than two or three books. When it becomes five or six to read and the same to listen to, it’s overwhelming. I don’t know which book to dive into first to complete. Therefore, it’s a matter of reading a few pages from different books and finishing them all nearly becomes a dream.
I need a day or two just to read and read and read. I’m hoping the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday will give me respite if I skip shopping with the masses, and I can find a quiet spot to finish a book or two.

The very best part of sharing what you’re reading and listening to is that you learn about even more books to add to the TBR pile. Please, share, and happy reading!
