I am out of town for a few days, caring for a relative. I have had the opportunity for some quiet time. Even though care, phone calls, and emails drive my day, there’s room for quiet time to persist. The quiet time translates into creative time.
The great news is that the book magic has returned. I fall in love with writing, particularly when I can sit down, and the story flows. Yes, there are points when I need to stop, to research, and to think about particular characters and events, but, for the most part, the story is alive. The characters move and live within the movie inside my head. I have often stated that writing (and likely my art) is like a private schizophrenia. The other worlds that exist inside my brain bring a particular joy. The creative fire burns brightly, bringing a particular sense of peace and happiness.
I am very happy to state that the latest Meadowood book is coming along nicely. I hope it continues. I hope the story will bring readers happiness as well.
