Just One More Sleep…
My good friend’s grandchildren count the number of sleeps until an event. James and I have just one more sleep until we head to Scotland. Our bags are packed.
Rally the Troops!
The research for this book has me head over heels entrenched in 18th-century history, medicine, domestic life, and politics in 18th-century Scotland and America. The more I research, the more I realize (as is often the case with research), the less I know. I could certainly devote a lifetime to learning about the 18th century. Each bit of knowledge adds to the richness of the book.
Elen’s Path in Scotland and America
Only 59 days until we leave for Scotland. I continue to research daily. Today, my husband and I are heading to Ephrata, Pennsylvania to Ephrata Cloisters (https://ephratacloister.org).
