Book Vendor at St. Mary Anne’s Garden Market
Meet Me at the St. Mary Anne’s Garden Market
May 1–2, 2026 | North East, Maryland
Each spring, one of my favorite local traditions returns — the St. Mary Anne’s Garden Market, a much-loved community celebration that transforms the historic church grounds into a vibrant gathering of gardeners, artists, and makers.
I’m delighted to share that I’ll be attending this year’s Garden Market as an author, with my own booth, and I’d love for you to stop by and say hello.
🌸 Featuring Half Past Death
At this event, Half Past Death will be my front-runner book — a fitting choice, as it’s set in the fictional Meadowood Gardens, a place inspired by the kinds of landscapes and quiet corners that make garden spaces so evocative. If you enjoy mysteries rooted in place, atmosphere, and a touch of the uncanny, this is the perfect setting to discover the book.
I’ll have books available for purchase and signing throughout the weekend.
About the Garden Market
For more than 26 years, St. Mary Anne’s has hosted this annual two-day Garden Market, welcoming the wider community onto their beautiful and historic campus each spring. The event features over 75 garden-related and arts and crafts vendors from across the tri-state area and typically draws 5,000–6,000 visitors.
You’ll find:
- Spring flowers and plants
- Garden art, pottery, statuary, and ornaments
- Handmade soaps, fresh produce, and artisan goods
- A popular bake table with homemade treats
- Food vendors offering lunch and snacks
The market is held rain or shine and includes free live music, family-friendly activities like face painting and children’s planting projects, and opportunities to explore the historic church space.
